Teeth whitening training video - silicone impression method
The procedure used in the above video is normally repeated
three times, taking approx 20 minute per session and an hour for the treatment to be completed.
However, through
experience, you will begin to find your own ways of doing things as I have done.
Most salons or mobile operators
may ask cilents to sign a consent form before carrying out the treaments. (advised)
The video above is in our opinion the easiest method for newcomers. This method is used extensively in the U.S.A they
have teeth whitening kiosks all over.
METHOD 2
Another method commonly used in cosmetic teeth whitening is applying the
gels to the teeth. Beforehand you'll need to protect the gums using a gingival dam. The gingival dam is contained in the
black syringe in our teeth whitening kits. Apply about 2mm above the gum line make sure the gum is as dry as possible
before applying the dam. The dam is in liquid form when it leaves the syringe. Then the dam is cured using the curing
light. This will make the dam go hard and protect the gums from the gels.
The Picture's
below will give you an idea how this is done:
Step one: Insert the lip retractor
Step two: Insert cotton wool for more protection
Step three: Apply gingival gum dam, then harden with
curing light or cool light
Make sure that the gums and lips have been protected before
using the gels. Inner lips/gums are protected by using the vitiman e swabs from our teeth whitening kits. Some
use vaseline or sun cream to protect the outer lips.
Step 4: Apply the gels to the teeth and set times
on light
This is normally 10/15 minutes. The process is the repeat 3/4 times per session.
Step 5: Have the client rinse away the gel with water.
Step 6: After the required sessions under the light, apply the remineralization gel for 10/15 minutes. Then the treatment is complete.
